On Wednesday night I went to a Christus-Treff small group meeting with Laura, Amy, Bobby and Anna. It was in the home of a couple we had met on Sunday; Stefan and Juliette. This is the only small group meeting that is held in English, as Juliette is from Boston. There was also a couple there from South Carolina and a German couple. It was neat to gather in this small context. It seems as though gospel-hospitality is alive and well in Marburg!
I settled into a routine pretty well this week. I have language class from 9:00 to 12:30, go to the "Mensa" for lunch, then to history and culture class from 2:00 to 4:00 (or 2:00 to 5:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays), then do any necessary shopping, take the bus back home, wrangle up some dinner, do homework, and go to bed. I certainly did some other cool stuff, but that's the main framework. The week actually seemed to go by fairly quickly. Life is good and God is great.
Blessings,
Jared

I am thoroughly enjoying your blogging! Keep it up!
Also, it sounds amazing that you are finding other Christians for fellowship! God is so gracious!
Hi Jared, I have enjoyed catching up on your travels and adventures. Thank you for spending the time! Can't see too many Cathedrals. Take care, Mr. Odell
Thanks for sharing your experiences in Germany. I have enjoyed hearing about your time over there. I look forward to hearing more and seeing the awesome pictures. Marburg looks beautiful. I'm sure pictures don't even capture what it looks like in person. There is so much history that took place in Germany. Well I am praying for you. Have a great weekend and week at school.
God Bless, Carrie
