Hello Friends and Family

I'm glad you've found your way to my blog (and I hope you are). As you are probably already aware, I will be studying abroad in Germany this spring. I leave February 16th and hope to return on June the 8th. My grand plan is to consistently post updates and pictures of my whereabouts to appease the inquisitive. Feel free to comment; I'm sure it will be encouraging to my uberly European-infiltrated psyche as the weeks and months go by. Thanks, I'll miss you all.

we are thrilled you have a blog. We will be checking it frequently.

By the way, don't forget to visit Philip's castle in Marburg. What a treat!

P.S. Have you read, "Here I Stand" by Roland Bainton?

YES!
I seriously was going to email you today to request you start a blog! (I guess I fall under the "inquisitive" crowd then).

I hope you enjoy your last few days in Lancaster!

Odells,

I have not read "Here I Stand" by Roland Bainton. But wouldn't you know it, Doug gave me a copy of that very book last Wednesday night to read while in Germany! I'm looking forward to it.

Can't wait to hear the multitudes of stories, and I hope you find a close-by McDonald's to supply you with ample medium hazelnut iced coffees. :o) Enjoy your last day in Lanc-Lanc!

I'm so excited you'll be keeping a blog, Jared! I'm looking forward to reading all about your time in Germany.

And if you get a chance to even put one foot in France, I will be quite jealous. :)

I'll be praying for a safe flight! If you're going through Heathrow, enjoy the international terminal. It's so great.

Happy flying, and have fun traipsing about Europe! I look forward to hearing about your experiences over there. I don't think I will have consistent computer access in Turkey, so I probably won't be able to keep a blog myself...sad. Anyway, hope your flight goes well today and that you don't perish of jet lag. Drink lots of coffee ;)
